The Youth and Responsibility

The conference titled " Responsibility everywhere and in all" was held on September 20 to 25, 2007 in Batoumi, Georgia, Caucasus. It was organized by the regional Committee of the Charter of Human Responsibilities and the young scouts of Georgia.

During the conference, the Charter of Human Responsibilities was presented by Tsisso Chipashvili, and Tasia Zakariadze spoke largely about the responsibilities of each towards the nature and the human beings...

During the workshops, the youth leaders (who came from all regions of Georgia and were from 15 to 22 years old) discussed on the principles of the Charter and spoke of the concept of responsibility. They wrote a questionnaire and during two days, these youth wearing a yellow uniform with the Charter emblem, walked in the streets of Batoumi and questioned the passers-by who have been themselves very eloquent and answered to the young peoples with much pleasure.
During 5 days, workshops, activities and cultural soirées showed how the youth were interested in the event.

The 26 participants led to a plan of action to educate children aged of 5 to 12 years on environmental responsibilities.

The TV25 TV channel, a newspaper and the regional radio transmitted information on the conference, which was a great success.
