Video production on the Charter of Human Responsibilities

The video production was done in conjunction with the Teacher Training (see article ’Ethics and Responsibilities in the Teaching Profession’). It is entitled Alay sa Mundo, meaning ’Offering to the Earth’, and was produced by the Regional Charter Team with the Center for Positive Futures.

This video was presented to 40 teachers and a discussion on the Charter followed rooted in their vision and mission as teachers.

This video presentation is based in the culture of Filipinos as they exercise responsibilities and face challenges to current community, national and global responsibilities. It gives a historical appreciation of responsibilities in the Philippine setting, being responsible within the family setting, being alienated and indifferent outside the family, best practices in responsibilities in a community setting, focussing on environmental problems, and challenging the people to practice responsible behavior and work for the adoption of the Charter of Human Responsibilities.
